Four New Hedgehog Houses Ready for Stokenchurch! 🦔
Stokenchurch Parish Council are delighted to announce that four beautiful new hedgehog houses have been expertly crafted by the wonderful team at Thame Men’s Shed.
Thame Men’s Shed is a fantastic community organisation that offers a welcoming and supportive environment for people from all walks of life. Whether you have a project you’d like to build, want to learn how to use an incredible range of tools, or simply fancy popping in for a cup of tea and a friendly natter, you will be made to feel right at home. From metalwork to woodwork the group is full of skilled and generous individuals who are always happy to share their knowledge and lend a helping hand.
These hedgehog houses will soon be installed at various locations throughout the parish, including within Stokenchurch Primary School, to provide safe and cosy shelters for our much-loved prickly visitors.
This is another exciting step in our efforts to make Stokenchurch a more hedgehog-friendly parish and to support local wildlife for generations to come.
A huge thank you to everyone at Thame Men’s Shed, Stokenchurch Primary School and Chiltern Wood School Studley Green for helping to bring this wonderful project to life! 🦔💚
