What an amazing achievement! We now have over 2,000 hand-knitted, crocheted and felt poppies thanks to our wonderful community.

THE STOKENCHURCH POPPY PROJECT NOW HAS OVER 2,000 POPPIES! What an amazing achievement! We now have over 2,000 hand-knitted, crocheted and felt poppies thanks to our wonderful community. 
With the help of The Stokenchurch Library Craft Group, Stokenchurch Stitchers, and Parish Councillors, we are hand-sewing every individual poppy onto our four giant nets, ready for Remembrance Day.
A special mention to one of our blind parishioners who has made over 65 poppies, using their sense of touch to feel for dropped stitches. Truly remarkable!
**Can you help?** The Stokenchurch Library Craft Group would love extra hands to sew poppies onto the netting.

Every Friday, 10am–12 noonA huge thank you to everyone who has contributed whether that be one poppy or many, each poppy amounts to a considerable amount of time which you have given up to remember those who served and sacrificed.
