⚠️We have been made aware that barbecues are being used at Longburrow Hall.
Please be reminded that barbecues of any kind, including portable and disposable BBQs, are strictly prohibited on all Stokenchurch Parish Council land, including Longburrow Hall.
⚠️With the current hot, dry weather, barbecues present a significant fire risk and could cause serious damage to grassland, trees, buildings and other Parish Council property.
⚠️Any person found using a barbecue on Parish Council land may be held personally liable for the full cost of any damage caused to Parish Council land or property.
⚠️If you witness anyone using a barbecue on Parish Council land, please do not put yourself at risk or challenge them if you feel unsafe.
⚠️Only if it is safe to do so, please take a photograph showing the barbecue and its location, and send it to Stokenchurch Parish Council at clerk@stokenchurch-pc.gov.uk. The Council will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, report it to Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police. Photographs may also be used to assist in recovering the costs of any damage caused.
