Stokenchurch Parish Council is aware of recent concerns raised regarding the cooker at Longburrow Hall.
The Parish Council had previously resolved to replace the commercial cooker as part of the ongoing maintenance and management of Longburrow Hall as a shared community facility. The replacement cooker has now been ordered for the benefit of all hall users, although delivery has unfortunately been delayed due to temporary supplier stock shortages.
The Parish Council would also like to thank Stokenchurch Dental for their very kind offer of support regarding the replacement cooker. As the council had already resolved to proceed with the purchase as a community asset for all hirers, the cooker is being funded directly by the Parish Council. The council will also be responding directly to Stokenchurch Dental to thank them properly for their generous offer and community support.
We would encourage hall users and residents to raise operational concerns through the official hall and council contact channels wherever possible, so that issues can be addressed directly and efficiently.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Longburrow Hall and its community groups.
