The Memorial Plaque originated from The Beacons Bottom Chapel (Photo below) and custodianship was passed to Stokenchurch Parish Council after the Chapels closure.
The lives of our fallen soldiers has been carefully researched and compiled by Sally & Tricia Prentice for the posterity of Stokenchurch.
Lest we forget.
